The Research Institute of Economy and Administration of Education was found by celebrated public management scientist Mr. Lou ChengWu in 2002.It is one of the early-established institutes in domestic,which specialized in the research field of Economy and Administration of Education.

Founded with only Mater Degree awarding powers,and then in 2007,it was authorized to confer Doctoral Degree.Professor Zhang DeXiang,known for the field of Higher Pedagogy, is the first doctoral tutor(part-time) in the Research Institute of Economy and Administration of Education.

There are 5 existing full-time teachers,including 2 professors as doctoral tutors,1 associate professor as master tutor and 2 lecturers.The teachers in the Research Institute of Economy and Administration of Education were repeatedly honored by the Northeastern University and Northeastern University School of Humanities and Law.It is a contingent of scientific researchers,which possesses the reasonable knowledge and learning-origin structures,the spirit of solidarity and collaboration and the positive working attitude.

The staff in the Research Institute of Economy and Administration of Education published more than 200 related academic articles in Social Behavior and Personality,Educational Research,Psychological Science,Academic Degrees＆Graduate Education,Journal of The Chinese Society of Education,Studies of Foreign Education,GUANGMING DAILY,ZHONGGUO JIAOYU BAO,and so on.Besides that,they also compiled or participated in over 20 monographs,including Economy and Administration of Education (National top-quality textbook,Public Governance of Education:An Introduction,The Study of Management Model in Research University,University Students’ Innovative Undertaking:An Introduction,Higher Education Economics,The Study of China Private Higher Education,Counseling Psychology,General Education,and so on.Over 50 research projects at the national,provincial and municipal level were undertook by our teachers,including the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science Funding Projects,the National Education Science Planning Projects,the Ministry of Education of Humanities and Social Science Fund Planning Projects,the Social Science Funding Projects of LiaoNing Province,the key projects of LiaoNing Province Scientific Research,the Economic and Social Development Projects of LiaoNing Province,the Education Scientific Planning Projects of LiaoNing Province,and so forth.The cumulative amount of research receipts reached more than ￥1,000,000.They have obtained over 10 prizes of Scientific Research at the provincial level or above,containing the first prize of Excellent Achievement of Social Science in LiaoNing Province,the second prize of Excellent Achievement of Philosophy and Social Science in LiaoNing Province,the first prize of Personnel Scientific Research in LiaoNing Province,and the Excellent Master Dissertation of LiaoNing Province,and so on.
